Privacy Policy – QuickRx

QuickRx (“the App”, “we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how
information is handled when you use the QuickRx mobile application.
1. Information Collection and Use
QuickRx is designed to function without storing prescription or patient data on any backend servers.
- The App uses Google Sign-In for authentication. During sign-in, basic account information such as your Google account email address and profile name may be provided by Google.
- Prescription and patient-related data entered in the App is stored locally on the user’s device only.
- The App does not store prescription or patient data on any servers, cloud storage, or external databases controlled by the developer.
- The developer does not access, view, or process prescription or patient data.
2. Data Sharing
QuickRx does not share user or patient data with third parties.
- Prescription sharing (for example, via WhatsApp) is explicitly initiated by the user.
- Once shared through third-party apps, the data is governed by the privacy policies of those services.
- QuickRx does not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose user or patient data.
3. Permissions
The App may request limited device permissions strictly required for core functionality, such as:
- Access to share prescription content through other apps
Permissions are:
- Not used for tracking
- Not used for analytics or advertising
- Not used for background data collection
4. Third-Party Services
QuickRx uses the following third-party service:
- Google Sign-In for authentication
QuickRx does not use:
- Advertising SDKs
- Analytics services
- Third-party tracking tools
5. Data Storage and Security
- All prescription and patient data is stored locally on the user’s device.
- Data transmission for authentication uses secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Users are responsible for securing access to their own devices.
6. Account and Data Deletion
QuickRx does not maintain user accounts on its own servers.
- Removing QuickRx access from Google Account settings
- Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data
No user or patient data is retained after these actions.
7. Children’s Privacy
QuickRx is intended for use by licensed medical professionals only and is not designed for children under 18 years of age.
8. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated version available with the App.
